Job board
Digital job sheets, all of them on one live board
Every job in the workshop as a card you can see and drag. Nobody walks the floor asking where the blue Golf has got to, because the board already says.
- Every live job visible in one place
- Drag a card to move the job on
- Parts, health checks and time all on the card

The job sheet stops being a piece of paper
A paper job card is only ever in one place, and it is never the place you are standing.
Nothing gets lost behind a screen
A paper job sheet lives on a clipboard, in a car, or under something. A digital job card is on the board, on the technician's phone and at the front desk at the same time, and it cannot be left in the footwell.
You can see what is stuck
Awaiting parts and awaiting approval are columns of their own. Jobs that are blocked look different from jobs that are moving, so the ones quietly costing you a bay are the ones you notice first.
Everyone is looking at the same thing
The technician updating the card and the person answering the phone are reading one record. Nobody has to shout across the workshop to answer whether a car is ready.
How a job moves across the board
A card only moves when something has actually happened. These are the four stages that decide your day.
In progress
The technician has started. Time runs against the job, not against a guess made later.
Awaiting parts
A part is on order. The card sits in its own column so it is not mistaken for work in hand.
Awaiting approval
The customer has been sent the health check and the estimate, and the job waits on their answer.
Completed and invoiced
Work signed off, invoice raised from what was actually done, and the bay freed up.
Everything about the job on the job
Garage job card software is only worth having if the card holds the whole job. Parts, labour, photos, the health check and the customer's approval all live on the same record, so writing the invoice is reading it back rather than reassembling it.
- Parts added from stock or a supplier order, at the price you paid
- Labour recorded against the job as the technician works
- Health check photos and video attached to the card
- Authorised extras marked as approved, with declined work left off
Assign it, filter it, find it
On a busy Friday the board is full. Filter it down to one technician, one status or one vehicle and the noise disappears, which matters more than it sounds when somebody is on hold.
- Assign or reassign a technician from the card
- Filter by technician, status or priority
- Completed and invoiced columns capped so the board stays readable
- Live counts so you can see the shape of the day without counting cards
The same job sheet out in the workshop
Technicians do not work at a desk. The card they update from the bay on their phone is the card the front desk is reading, so the board is current without anyone being asked for an update.
- Start and stop time against the job from the bay
- Add photos and notes without walking back to the office
- Health check completed on a phone and sent to the customer
- Status changes show on the board as they happen

Frequently Asked Questions
Both, and the board is the smaller half. Each card is a full job sheet holding the parts, the labour, the health check, the photos and the customer's approvals. The board is how you see all of them at once. The invoice is then raised from the card rather than typed out again from it.
The board is organised by job status: draft, in progress, awaiting parts, awaiting approval, completed and invoiced. They map to the stages a job genuinely passes through rather than being free-form lists, which is what lets the rest of the system know that a job awaiting parts is not a job in progress.
The workshop diary is where you plan the day, by bay and technician and time. The board is what is happening on the floor right now, grouped by what stage each job has reached. You plan in the diary and you work from the board.
Yes, and that is the point. Through the companion app a technician starts and stops time, adds photos and notes and completes the health check from the bay. What they do shows on the board without anyone relaying it.
It sits in awaiting approval until they answer. The estimate and the health check evidence have already gone to them, and their decision comes back against the job, so the approved extras carry through to the invoice and the declined work does not.
Yes. The parts, labour and approved extras on the card become the invoice without anyone re-entering them. That is where most of the money leaks in a paper system, because whatever nobody wrote on the sheet never gets billed.
Yes. Time is recorded against the job as the technician works rather than estimated afterwards, so you can compare what a job was quoted at against what it really took. That comparison is the one that tells you whether your labour rate is right.
